The Great Plains Medical Research Foundation (GPMRF) located in Sioux Falls, SD, was established as a nonprofit corporation to advancethe research and education activities ofthe staff at the Sioux Falls Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care System. Over the past 30 years, the GPMRF has partnered with the Sioux Falls VA Medical System to develop research dedicated to investigating a variety of ailments afflicting the nation's veterans.
