Patrick J. Ronan, Ph.D.
Patrick J. Ronan is a Research Scientist at the Sioux Falls VA Healthcare System as well as an Associate Professor at the Psychiatry and Basic Biomedical Sciences Sanford USD School of Medicine.
Ronan has a long-standing interest in the neurobiology and treatment of a wide range of stress-induced psychiatric disorders. His work has focused on understanding mechanisms underlying these disorders in order to identify therapeutic targets and develop novel therapeutic strategies. Ronan's interest in translating labratory findings into real treatments has led him to seek advanced training to enable him to conduct clinical research.
